We are getting close!

Every month we turn our calender. And a few days later, we remove some more pearls from the Waiting Thread. Mommy reads the internet to find out how many each time.
The Thread has become shorter and shorter.

This month, we could remove 8 pearls from the Waiting Thread! Wow, now there are only 8 pearls left on our chain, then it is our turn!

Will it be next month, that our happy day will come? We are both excited about the possibility. We are hoping very, very soon to get the referral of our new family member!

Waiting Pearls

We are waiting for a little sister (or maybe brother?) from China.

We have a Waiting Thread made of pearls, that Mommy made. When we look at the thread, we think of little sister. Every month we may remove some more pearls from the thread. How many, we get to know every month when CCAA (an office in China) has said how many children are to be adopted this time. Every time our waiting thread becomes shorter.

First comes fall, and then winter and Christmas, and New Year, and then the time is getting near to when we will receive a letter about little sister!
